Early this morning, a Toyota SUV hit a 70-year-old man who was in the crosswalk of Geary Boulevard and 10th Avenue in San Francisco’s Richmond District. The elderly pedestrian suffered injuries that are life threatening, the San Francisco police said as reported in the San Francisco Chronicle. Details surrounding the 7:56 a.m. accident on November 17, 2011 are not clear, and investigators don’t yet know if the man had a green light when he crossed.
San Francisco police stated the driver of the SUV stopped at the accident site, and was cooperating with the investigators.
