Three-vehicle Crash on I-5 Injures Woman

Early this morning, a crash on the southbound side of I-5 between the Magnolia Avenue and Brookhurst Street exits in Anaheim injured one woman and caused the closure of three lanes. The 6:15 a.m. collision on September 15, 2011 occurred when two cars merged into the same lane according to a witness statement as reported in The Orange County Register.

The woman who had been driving a Toyota Camry was taken by rescuers to the hospital, and a California Highway Patrol officer stated her injurious didn’t seem to be life threatening. The officer also stated in the news story that a Jeep Wrangler and a white Ford van were also involved in the collision. The officer didn’t know if there were other injured people, or which vehicle was a part of the initial crash.
