Famous Ball Player Not Injured After Accident
Ichiro Suzuki was recently in a car accident but luckily avoided any serious injuries. His Land Rover was completely totaled by another vehicle after one of his games. The accident occurred after a game at the intersection of Dale Mabry Highway and West Kennedy Boulevard.
After yesterday’s batting practice, Ichiro said he was not affected physically from the accident. He had no feelings of soreness or whiplash, luckily.
“Not at all, I almost want my body to feel something, but my body didn’t react. I guess you can say that you are going to have to do a lot worse for me to get hurt,” says Ichiro.
The accident involved three vehicles in which his Land Rover’s airbag was forced to go off.
He says, “I had the green light and entered the intersection. The car turned left and was turning into me,’’ Ichiro said. “I slammed on the brakes and couldn’t do anything about it.’’
Fortunately for Ichiro and the Yankees, he is not hurt and will continue the season.
