Not Enough Evidence to Pin Lohan to Sport’s Car Injury

Los Angeles, CA – Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan will not face charges for now for an accident she was accused of committing to a Hookah Lounge manager in March.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has determined that there is not enough evidence to pin Lohan to the accident. Attempting to escape the paparazzi, Lohan had allegedly struck Hollywood’s Hookah Lounge manager with her sports car as she was leaving the lounge’s parking lot March 14, 2012.
Allegedly, the lounge manager Thaer Kamal contacted authorities but refused medical treatment at the scene and told police Lohan’s Porsche had grazed his right leg. According to various sources Kamal refused to cooperate with follow-up interviews with authorities until two weeks after the accident. He arrived with a bandage around his left knee, opposite to the one which he’d reported injured the first time.
Deputy District Attorney John Gilligan said there was no direct evidence to link neither Lohan nor anyone else to Kamal’s injury.
